People or Task Focused Management?

This dilemma is often the reason why situations of unsatisfactory performance are poorly handled or not handled at all. Managers are afraid of challenging people around unsatisfactory performance in case doing so damages the relationship with the person – and perhaps with others too – and so fear they may do more harm than good. Managers can feel trapped, damned if they do and damned if they don’t – a real dilemma.

The good news is that this course will remove the dilemma. Participants will learn how to handle these situations so that they are able to deal with the issue in an honest and real way and do so while preserving good and healthy relationships.
