Handling emotions



It is very possible that when challenging or confronting people on an issue such as their unsatisfactory performance, some of them may become emotional – upset and cry or get angry. This can be unsettling for a manager and can seriously get in the way of reaching agreement and achieving the goal.

This is what this course covers and on its completion we are confident that participants will be able to handle emotional situations in a respectful, caring and effective way. Doing this will help managers to be more caring and, at the same time, more effective and powerful leaders or managers.
